Greetings, fellow Blake fanatics!

It is no secret that we are all driven by a common goal – to increase Blake’s airplay and exposure. For whatever reasons may be, support appears to be lacking. He has expressed the desire for a street team to bolster his standing as an artist, and there are many of us at various fan sites who are more than happy to direct our efforts towards this goal. We at Idol Bored (IB) have proposed a campaign to Dallas and Blake which they have graciously agreed to endorse and participate in directly. This is not about Idol Bored – it is a campaign designed to unify efforts among all of Blake’s fan sites so that we can all strengthen our individual efforts as one. This is a great opportunity that we are extremely excited about! It will allow for Blake to see how much his fans care about his success, as well as allow them to work together with him. We are writing to you to invite you to come on board with us and work together directly with Dallas and Blake as one team.

The concept is centered on the creation of a street team entitled the BLArmy (short for Blake Lewis Army). We will be creating a variety or resources at IB to concentrate our efforts, including a separate web page strictly for the BLArmy, as well as a private forum on IB for the leaders of each fan site who choose to take part. This forum will be hidden from the public and open only to these leaders as well as Dallas and Blake. This is an honor and a great opportunity to work directly with the artist we all support. Because of this, we must agree to conduct ourselves professionally and without the intention of personal gain. All matters discussed on this forum will be strictly confidential and will be expected to be kept as such. In other words, it is not a green light to stalk or pester Blake, and our proposal to him provides for the support of his privacy. If he and Dallas are treated with respect, we are sure that we will be treated with such ourselves. The proposal calls for Blake’s interaction with BLArmy members and the provision of exclusive items to reward members for their street team efforts. These items, etc. will be discussed with Dallas and Blake and agreed upon in our private planning correspondences with them. Our proposal further states that Dallas will oversee the entire campaign.

In addition to the aforementioned private forum for planning, a new forum for the BLArmy will be integrated within the existing Blake Lewis forums at IB to be utilized as a central “headquarters” for all fans who wish to take part in the campaign missions and “Join The BLArmy”.

IB’s webmaster, Wolf, will be creating graphics for the campaign in general, as well as mission-specific artwork decided upon with the input of Dallas and Blake. Wolf is a marketing and graphics professional who donates his time and work to IB. Other “executives” from IB who will be part of the core with Dallas and Blake include site owner and Admistrator OC Cali, as well as Senior Moderator and Marketing Director jamaicap. Existing IB Moderators will also be part of the BLArmy leadership panel. The other leaders of the BLArmy will be made up of YOU and members of your sites that you feel are responsible and trustworthy in a capacity of confidentiality. This will be a TEAM effort, regardless of the hosting of the headquarters at IB.

Again, this is a tremendous opportunity for all of us as Blake Lewis fans who wish to support him. Dallas and Blake have both agreed to endorse the campaign proposal and we are currently working with them to get the wheels turning. If you wish to join this effort, please respond ASAP.
